On November 06, 2023, at approximately 5:25 p.m., Monterey Police Department (MPD) Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Casanova, Monterey, regarding a road rage incident that resulted in a traffic collision and escalated into a physical fight between both drivers. After the physical altercation, witnesses reported that one of the involved subjects, later identified as William Holland, 24, of Monterey, purposely struck the other driver with his vehicle as he was leaving the scene. Holland then crashed his vehicle into the victim’s vehicle, which caused major damage to both vehicles. Holland abandoned his vehicle and fled the scene on foot. NEWS RELEASE IN PDF
