Everyone in our community should be able to enjoy a delicious Holiday Dinner. The Kiwanis Club of Monterey, Food Bank for Monterey County and City of Monterey are working together to offer a drive thru and walk-up Community Holiday Dinner on Thursday, December 22. Each meal kit will include all of the fixings to prepare your own traditional Thanksgiving meal for a family of 4 or 6-8 people. All meal kits will be pre-packaged and the same for everyone.

This is a contact-less drive thru or walk-up program and reservations are required. Space is limited.

Meal kits may also be delivered for homebound individuals in Pacific Grove, Monterey, Seaside, Marina and Carmel. Monterey Recreation is now taking registration for Fall leagues and programs. Programs offered for all ages including Preschool Programs at Hilltop Park and El Estero Park Centers, Stories and Adventures, Gymnastics Camps and Classes, Pee Wee Flag Football and Youth Flag Football Leagues, Dance Classes for Toddlers and Youth including Preschool Dance Collage, Music Movement and Hip Hop, Ballet, Youth Hip Hop Dance, Drawing and Painting, Watercolor Painting, Ceramics for Adults, Pilates and Modified Pilates, Adult Co-Rec and Men's Softball and much more! Food for Seniors
Drive Thru Meals on Wheels Available Now:
Are you over 60 years of age and in need of a warm meal? If so, Monterey Recreation and Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula is offering a DRIVE THRU meal pick-up program. Meals for seniors will be offered Tuesday through Friday from 11am-noon at the Scholze Park Center. Face masks are recommended when picking up your meals.

Blood drives will be held on Dec. 16, Jan. 27, Feb. 24 and March 24 from 10:00am-2:00pm. Please consider registering for one of the monthly blood drives at the Hilltop Park Center.
