The Waterfront Lot 1 at the entrance to Monterey Harbor is now complete and it is time to celebrate. The City of Monterey is hosting a ribbon-cutting and “Meet the Fleet” event on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The morning will feature a welcome by Mayor Tyller Williamson, followed by an official ribbon-cutting, a fun opportunity for kids to see up-close some of the city fleet displayed, and time to enjoy cupcakes, coffee, and conversation. Parents are encouraged to bring their young children to see some of the equipment used to reconstruct the lot, and that regularly service the entire city. NEWS RELEASE IN PDF
