On June 27, 2023 at approximately 8:33 P.M., Monterey Police Officers were dispatched to a report of harassment on the recreation trail in the area of Sloat Avenue. The female victim reported she was walking on the trail when a male suspect riding a bicycle began to follow her. The suspect made several lewd comments to the victim and refused to stop when he was asked. The victim reported the suspect followed her for approximately twenty minutes before he left the area.
