The sewer rehabilitation project schedule has been revised for downtown Monterey. Weather or other conditions may revise it further. Here is the latest schedule that will impact traffic and parking:
On Monday, October 10, 2016, at approximately 4:13 am, Seaside police officers and Detectives from the Monterey Peninsula Regional Violence and Narcotics Team (PRVNT) responded to the 1200 block of Ord Grove Avenue in Seaside on the report of a shooting inside a residence.
The failure of Pinnacle Workforce Solutions is actively being investigated by the Monterey Police Department in partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office. The investigation is in its earliest stages and the detailed reasons for Pinnacle’s collapse are still unclear. In order to fully understand the nature and scope of the matter, the investigating agencies are seeking some preliminary information from Pinnacle’s former clients.
The Monterey City Council is encouraging Monterey residents to apply to serve on the following Commissions or Committees:
The Architectural Review Committee (ARC), the Colton Hall Museum & Cultural Arts Commission (CHMCAC), the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC), and the Parks and Recreation Commission (PRC). Each serves as an advisory capacity to the City Council.
Downtown Monterey traffic and parking will be impacted by sewer work happening as follows:
