Procedures

  1. Review the Tree Removal Permit Application Procedure.
  2. Clear photos of the tree are required for any removal permit. Captioning or numbering the photos to correspond with information on the permit application will also help. Send photos to forestry@monterey.org.
  3. If further information is required, applicant must submit an arborist report from an ISA certified arborist.
  4. Submit your permit application using the online-fillable PDF form. Please save a copy to your computer, open it with Adobe Reader or Acrobat; fill out the form, sign, and return it by email forestry@monterey.org or mail to: 23 Ryan Ranch Road, Monterey, CA 93940.
