05/29/2018: Burglaries in Monterey

The Monterey Police Department (MPD) has seen an increase in property crimes in recent months, specifically automobile and residential burglaries. The MPD would like to remind people to ensure that they lock their vehicles and not leave items of value in the vehicle and specifically not leave them in plain sight. Additionally, homes and garages should be closed and locked.

Water Allocation Request for Proposals - Due July 16, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.

The City of Monterey is accepting proposals for development projects requesting a water allocation.  The proposal must include affordable housing.  Proposals are due no later than Monday, July 16, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. to the City of Monterey Planning Office – 580 Pacific Street, Monterey, CA 93940 and must meet all requirements listed in the Request for Proposals.  For questions, please contact Kimberly Cole, Community Development Director, at 831-646-3759 or cole@monterey.org.
