The Monterey Police Department (MPD) is transitioning to the California Incident-Based Reporting System (CIBRS), an expansion of the FBI’s National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) from the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) standard.  MPD is making this change to meet state and federal data standards and to support the national transition to NIBRS.
