Beach Volleyball Camp

Beginning Beach Volleyball Camp (9-13 yrs.)
This week-long camp is an introduction to beach volleyball and will teach beach volleyball fundamentals and skill development. This camp is intended for participants who have a strong interest in becoming beach volleyball players. Taught by Sand City Volleyball Club's experienced coaches and beach volleyball players who are experienced in skill development.
Registration is open until the program is filled.

Day: Monday - Friday
Ages: 9 - 13
Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm
Location: Monterey Bay Park (Beach Volleyball Courts)
Fees: $180 | $162 (Monterey Resident Fee)
Intermediate Beach Volleyball Camp (14-18 yrs.)
This week-long camp is an introduction to beach volleyball and will teach beach volleyball fundamentals and skill development. This camp is intended for participants who have a strong interest in becoming beach volleyball players. Taught by Sand City Volleyball Club's experienced coaches and beach volleyball players who are experienced in skill development.

Advanced Beach Volleyball Camp (14-18 yrs.)
This week-long camp is intended for advanced beach volleyball players who have beach volleyball tournament experience. The camp will focus on offensive and defensive strategies for tournament preparation. Instruction is by Sand City Volleyball Club experienced coaches and beach volleyball players, participants will be placed in competitive game situations to help prepare for tournament play.

Challenger international Soccer Camps

CORE CAMP
TinyTykes-Red-Border-V1Challenger's International Soccer Camps are more than just a week of drills and skills. In addition to taking part in a daily regime of foot skill development (through the 1,000 touches curriculum), technical and tactical practices and daily 'World Cup' tournament style plays, each child will be treated to a rich cultural experience and lessons on respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership and sportsmanship. Challenger's custom-built camps focus on individual player development and are delivered by a team of passionate international coaching staff handpicked to coach your player! Each camper will receive a free camp T-shirt and soccer ball.

CREATIVE SKILLS CAMP
TinyTykes-Red-Border-V1Challenger International Soccer’s Creative Skills Camp offers a wide variety of fun & games, with soccer at its core, through its innovative & exciting camp concept. International expert soccer coaches will teach players how to integrate their learned skills into real game situations, emphasizing the importance of decision-making and game intelligence. During the camp, players will have a wide variety of fun & unique soccer games to play, learning advanced street skills, making use of incredible 3-on-3 inflatable fields, and taking home long-lasting memories of their time with Creative Skills Camp. Each camper will receive a free camp T-shirt and soccer ball.

YOUTH TRACK AND FIELD CAMP
Here is an exciting opportunity for children ages 7 - 13 to learn the basics of track and field events within a positive, team-like environment. Participants will be taught basics of events such as sprints, hurdles, long jump and distance running, as well as, proper techniques of running, jumping and athletic movements. No refunds after registration deadline.

Youth Basketball Camp
This week-long camp will focus on the fundamentals and skill development of basketball. Coached by trained Monterey Recreation sports coaches. Players will participate in a variety of drills, creative games and scrimmages focused on shooting, dribbling, passing and defense.

Youth Flag Football Camp
This week-long camp will focus on learning and playing the game of football in a safe and non-contact environment. Coached by trained Monterey Recreation sports coaches, players will learn the rules and fundamentals of throwing, catching, running and defense through a variety of drills and creative games.

YOUTH BASEBALL CLINICS

This one-day clinic is an exciting opportunity for participants to learn the basic fundamentals of baseball such as baserunning, fielding, hitting, and pitching. Coached by trained Monterey Recreation sports coaches, skills and proper mechanics will be presented in a positive, small-group environment through a variety of drills and creative games. Registration is limited to the first 12 participants.
