Your donation can help a child attend our fun filled Camp Quien Sabe Youth Overnight Camp or Whispering Pines Day Camp. At Camp Quien Sabe, children spend a week in the great outdoors sleeping under the stars and participating in a variety of outdoor activities such as swimming, hiking, paddle boating, arts and crafts, nature lore campfires and much more. At Whispering Pines Day Camp, a group of special needs children, ages 5-17, participate in weekly themed outdoor activities such as hiking, singing, folk dancing, arts and crafts, cooking and special excursions. Donations can also be made to support programs at the Monterey Sports Center.
Scholarships are considered on a case by case basis for individuals and families experiencing unforeseen financial hardship. Please contact Interim Parks and Recreation Director Karen Larson at (831) 646-3866 or Monterey Sports Center Manager, Andrea Willer at (831) 646-3730.
