We offer hundreds of programs for everyone from tots to teenagers and older adults. From organized team sports to crafts and cultural activities, we've got something for everyone!

The Monterey Police Department will host a Public Safety Night, Saturday, August 3 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event will feature bounce houses, the Wheelie Mobilee, lawn games provided by Monterey Recreation, pizza, sandwiches, drinks and snacks. The focus is to promote community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. The whole community is invited to participate, so mark it on your calendars, and bring the whole family!

Are you interested in gaining job skills, getting an introduction to customer service whole working with children in our summer recreation programs? Teen volunteer positions are available including Camp “Lots-O-Tots”, Playground and Day Camp Programs or Community Center programs. Teens must be between 13-17 years of age and complete an orientation/training process which includes fingerprinting. Volunteer application deadline is Friday, April 19, 2019. Space is limited! Volunteers must be willing to work a majority of the summer. Teen Volunteer placement is based on program needs and requests for placement are not guaranteed.
