Donation Meters

In May of 2016 five parking meters dedicated specifically to collect donations to be used for helpful services to homeless individuals were installed in the City. The meters are installed in heavy foot-traffic areas along Alvarado Street, Calle Principal, Simoneau Plaza, Fisherman’s Wharf and Cannery Row. As of September 2017, donations totalling over $6,000 were collected and distributed to local homeless services providers.
