NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following: On Call Greenbelt Maintenance Contract 2019 for Presidio Municipal Services Agency (PMSA) Projects.  In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, all phases of greenbelt management and maintenance, including control and removal of vegetation for fire fuel reduction, and the protection, preservation, and enhancement of native plants and trees in open space areas in greenbelts, parks, along roadways and near private property.

03/18/2019: Summer Teen Volunteer Opportunities with Monterey Recreation

Are you interested in gaining job skills, getting an introduction to customer service whole working with children in our summer recreation programs? Teen volunteer positions are available including Camp “Lots-O-Tots”, Playground and Day Camp Programs or Community Center programs. Teens must be between 13-17 years of age and complete an orientation/training process which includes fingerprinting. Volunteer application deadline is Friday, April 19, 2019. Space is limited! Volunteers must be willing to work a majority of the summer. Teen Volunteer placement is based on program needs and requests for placement are not guaranteed.

CITY OF MONTEREY PUBLIC NOTICE CALL FOR SEALED BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following:  Sanitary Sewer System Rehabilitation, Phase II CIPP and Manhole Lining.  In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, the rehabilitation of sanitary sewer pipe via cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) as well as rehabilitation of sanitary sewer manholes, cleanouts and lampholes owned and maintained by the City of Monterey.  There is limited amount of work located on the Presidio of Monterey and Naval Postgraduate School that will require the contractor to follow the special access procedures described in the specifications.  The work will not entail offsite disposal of sewer material, contractor will be required to install bypass pumps from the upstream manhole into the downstream manhole during the curing process.

CITY OF MONTEREY PUBLIC NOTICE CALL FOR SEALED BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following:  Presidio of Monterey (POM) B838-Boiler, Water Piping Replacement Project (RE-BID).  In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to rebuilding the water heater system, re-plumbing the cold water feed, removing a steam boiler and steam system appurtenances, relining a hot water storage tank, re-plumbing a heat exchanger, re-roofing the flat roof, installing an evacuated tube solar hot water heating system, removing abandoned piping and unused equipment, and ensure all piping is properly supported, insulated and labeled.
