City Council meetings are open public forums where the Council makes local laws, policies, and basic decisions relating to the City. The Monterey City Council meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 4 and 7 p.m. in the Council Chamber, 580 Pacific Street. Meetings are broadcast live on the Monterey Channel and streamed on the web.
