PUBLIC NOTICE CALL FOR SEALED BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following:  Presidio of Monterey Various Buildings Roof Replacement (Package 1).  In  general,  the  work  consists  of,  but  is  not  limited  to,  removal,  disposal  and  replacement  of  existing  asphalt shingle roofing on  buildings B204‐B207, B209‐B212, B213‐B218 ,B219, B220, and B228, , including roof  preparation  and  installation  of  new ,  50  year  warranty,  architectural  shingle  roof  assembly  by  Owens  Corning,  or  approved  equal.  Also  included  are  the  removal  and replacement  of  metal  flashing,  roof  gutters  and  downspout,  repair  of  deteriorated  roof  decking,  evaluation  of  the  existing  vent  system  and  installation  of  additional  roof  vents,  if  necessary,  and  all miscellaneous work for a complete in placed roof system.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey has prepared a Negative Declaration, pursuant to the requirements of CEQA, for 200 Glenwood Circle. 

The proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study, as well as referenced documents, are available for review at the City of Monterey, Planning Office, Colton Hall, 1st Floor, 570 Pacific Street, Monterey, CA 93940 and on the City website at: www.monterey.org/planning. In accordance with time limits mandated by State law, written comments on this Negative Declaration and Initial Study will be accepted from:

September 21, 2018 to October 22, 2018

A public hearing for this project will be held on: October 23, 2018
