NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following: Presidio of Monterey (POM) B838-Boiler, Water Piping Replacement Project. In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to rebuilding the water heater system, re-plumbing the cold water feed, removing a steam boiler and steam system appurtenances, relining a hot water storage tank, re-plumbing a heat exchanger, re-roofing the flat roof, installing an evacuated tube solar hot water heating system, removing abandoned piping and unused equipment, and ensure all piping is properly supported, insulated and labeled.

In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, the construction, repairs, alterations to existing facilities and emergency work for the repair and maintenance of traffic signal, communications, and lighting systems, including testing and certificate of new controller assemblies, maintenance, repair and installation of new traffic signal equipment, lighted crosswalks, radar speed feedback signs, rectangular rapid flashing beacons, flashing beacons and fiber optic network.
