The Monterey Sports Center entrance is on E. Franklin St. which is one-way eastbound toward Lake El Estero. The Center occupies a large city block between Del Monte Avenue on the north, E. Franklin St. on the south, Washington St. on the west and Figueroa St. on the east.

Parking

Metered parking (quarters) is available at the Sports Center parking lot with additional ticketed parking located in the Custom House Garages just west of the Sports Center.
 

Driving Directions to Monterey Sports Center

From Carmel: Take Highway 1 north to the Downtown Monterey/Munras Avenue exit. Continue north on Munras toward the downtown area. Munras becomes Abrego St. at El Dorado Street and becomes Washington St. at Pearl Ave. Continue north to E. Franklin St. then turn right. The Sports Center is on your left at E. Franklin and Washington streets.

From Marina and Seaside: Take Highway 1 south to the Del Monte Ave. exit. Continue west on Del Monte Ave. toward the downtown area remaining in the left lane. Continue one block past Washington St. and turn left at Tyler St. between the City parking garages. Park in the garages and walk to the Sports Center or turn left from Tyler onto E. Franklin St. The Sports Center is on your left at E. Franklin and Washington streets.

From Fremont Street at Monterey Peninsula College: Take Fremont Street west toward the downtown district. Turn right onto Abrego St. Abrego St. becomes Washington St. at Pearl Ave. Continue north to E. Franklin St. then turn right. The Sports Center is on your left at E. Franklin and Washington streets.

From New Monterey and Pacific Grove: Take Lighthouse Avenue through the tunnel. Stay in the rightmost lane. Bear right when exiting the tunnel onto Tyler St. and continue past Del Monte Avenue between the parking garages. Turn left from Tyler onto E. Franklin St. and continue past Washington St. The Sports Center is on your left at E. Franklin and Washington streets.
