The Monterey Sports Center invites you to visit and use our
facilities during general facility hours as indicated below.
Schedules for the Kids Zone/Babysitting Service
and Pools are different. Open Gym
shares the same hours as General Facility Hours. The facility is closed on
these holidays.
For details on class schedules, refer to your Monterey
Recreation & Community Services Department Activities Guide or stop by the
Center. We're located at 301 E. Franklin St. just off Del Monte Avenue and adjacent to the
City parking garages (map). For additional information, see the

LAP SWIM |
Lap swimming lanes are available during all
hours of operation. Due to other scheduled aquatic programs, lap lanes will vary between
two to twelve lanes, depending on program needs.
NOTE: Adult Lap Swim is for persons 18 years of age or older.
Individuals 17 years of age and younger may lap swim during
Recreational
Swimming Hours.
NOTE: Pools close 15 minutes before facility closes on weekdays and 30 minutes before on
Sat & Sun. |

Recreational Swimming Hours Effective Until June 3, 2010: (Note Water Slide Hours)
Recreational swimming is for all ages. *Children 5
years and under must be directly supervised at all times by someone at least 18 years of
age and must be accompanied in the water when using the pools.
