Replace deteriorating and leaking water
lines servicing DLI classrooms. This project is for furnishing
all labor, equipment, and materials required for the removal of
segments of galvanized iron pipe water lines and installation of
approximately 2179 lineal feet (LF) of copper pipe of various
diameters. The work shall be on Buildings 219,
272, 273, 274, 275, 276, 277, 324, 325, 450, 451, 452, and 453
at the Presidio of Monterey. Also included in this work are
necessary tie-ins to existing water laterals, flushing the entire
water lines, conditioning and testing the water, and miscellaneous work
for complete in-place water lines for various buildings.
Additive alternate bid item: removal and disposal of existing failed
water laterals.
