The Division of Planning, Engineering, and Environmental Compliance is responsible for numerous City functions including: private and public project planning, Capital and Neighborhood Improvement project engineering, trans-portation planning, environmental compliance, affordable housing, water use, property management for City-owned sites, historic preservation, sustainability, economic development, and architectural review.
   The Division provides staff for the Architectural Review Committee, Historic Preservation Commission, Planning Commission, Neighborhood Improvement Committee, Zoning Administrator, Development Review Committee,
and City Council. Division staff members also act as City liaisons to every business association in the City as well
as a myriad of outside agencies and groups.
