The City of Monterey presents rotating art exhibits at the Alvarado Gallery in the
Monterey Conference Center. The Gallery provides an opportunity for residents and visitors to celebrate the rich artistic and cultural
heritage of the Monterey area. A call for artwork is usually conducted each fall.

Location and Hours
Alvarado Gallery is located on the second floor of the Monterey Conference Center, One Portola Plaza (Del Monte Ave. at Calle Principal) in downtown Monterey. The Conference Center is open 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and may be open on weekends for scheduled events.
