As part of the City's commitment to provide quality services for our diverse community needs, the City owns and operates a fleet of vehicles and equipment dedicated to accomplishing these services. Fleet Services is an internal service organization that manages and maintains the City's fleet. Our fleet consists of over 220 various vehicles and pieces of equipment that includes police patrol cars, fire engines, lift trucks, a sewer jet truck and a small fleet of hybrid and electrical vehicles. As part of our operations, we also maintain two fuel stations, which include alternative fuels such as bio-diesel and compressed natural gas.

The municipal fleet industry is regulated or guided by various City, State and federal laws and by fleet industry codes and standards.
