Boaters can get their boats into the water through the free boat ramp in the Marina or the public hoist on the Municipal Wharf. Monterey Marina has a 3-ton token operated boat hoist located on Municipal Wharf II. The hoist is available 24-hours a day 7-days a week, except for required repair, maintenance and inspection periods.
Customers must read the operating and safety instructions and complete a short instruction brief before they are allowed to operate the hoist. After your certification you will be issued an electronic key to activate the hoist in 15 minute intervals. You will be billed $1.50 for each interval used.
