The Monterey Harbor and Marina is the best place to park once and see Monterey attractions all day. Everything you need to see is within not much more than a mile in any direction. Take the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail by foot, bike or surrey (you can rent either at nearby businesses) to Cannery Row, the Monterey Bay Aquarium or Downtown Monterey. In the immediate waterfront area you will find Old Fisherman's Wharf, Del Monte Beach and the Monterey State Historic Park, home to historic adobes and museums. Across the street is Lake El Estero Park, home of our beautiful city lake, skate park, paddle boat concession and Dennis the Menace Park.
