New Wave, an Aquatic Exhibition, June 18 - July 17, 2016

New WaveNew Wave is an aquatic themed exhibition featuring the work of emerging artists from the Monterey Bay area. The purpose of New Wave is to provide developing artists who are beginning their professional career an opportunity to showcase their skills and raise funds for the Monterey Arts Council’s Local Emerging Artist Program (LEAP). Through a juried exhibition, artist’s panel discussion and online marketing, New Wave will effectively showcase and promote the talents of the artists featured.

City Seeking Applicants for Boards & Commissions

The Monterey City Council is seeking applications from Monterey residents to serve on the Colton Hall Museum/Cultural Arts Commission and Architectural Review Committee. If you are a resident of the City of Monterey and are interested in one of these two volunteer positions, you may apply.
Applications and a description of the positions are available at the City Clerk’s Office, Room 6 at City Hall on the Corner of Pacific and Madison Streets and online at http://bit.ly/BCC-app. Applications for these appointments will be accepted until close of business June 6, 2016.
